We’re thrilled to announce we have an exciting new opportunity for a Receptionist, to join our fabulous Brockenhurst team.

 

We’re looking for someone friendly, who loves working with customers. This role is also ideally suited to an Optical Advisor seeking a new challenge, with a passion for the eyecare industry. If this sounds like you, keep reading:

 

Essential skills required

 

This is a customer-facing role, so excellent customer service skills and telephone manners are essential.

 

Previous experience is preferred, but full training will be given to the right candidate.

 

The candidate must be computer literate.

 

Job description

 

The job description includes, but is not limited to:

 

●       Meeting and greeting customers

●       Booking appointments face-to-face and over the telephone

●       Preparing clinical records

●       Processing NHS Paperwork

●       Taking payments

●       Advising customers glasses are ready

●       Keeping retail area clean and tidy

●       Assisting the team with spectacle ordering, pre-screening and accounts work

●       Ad-hoc ‘Optical Advisor’ tasks available for the right candidate with relevant experience

 

Full-time position

 

This is a full-time role. Hours are 37 hours per week, namely Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 4.30pm. With a day off in the week.

 

Fantastic salary

 

The salary exceeds the new living wage and is negotiable for the right candidate.
