Oval Frames

An oval face shape is soft and contoured, considered to be ideal because of its balanced proportions.

The most common shape, an oval face, is typically defined as one and a half times longer than its width with a chin slightly narrower than the forehead. Most styles can work - look for spectacle frames that are as wide as the broadest part of the face, or fractionally wider, to maintain its natural balance and avoid frames with extreme angles.
